The Yeedi Vac 2 Pro vacuums and mops well. It has 3000pa vacuum suction and can pick up crumbs, pet hair, and other debris from hard floors. It also does a good job of getting around edges and furniture.
The app lets you set cleaning cycles and schedules, adjust power levels, and view a cleaning log. It also has a helpful maintenance tool under the flap for cleaning the filters and cutting tangled hairs.
Powerful suction
With a maximum suction power of 3000pa, the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro can easily pick up dust, crumbles and fine dirt on both carpet and hard floors. It can even tackle pet hair and other tough messes.
It is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, which makes it easy to control using voice commands. However, it can take a couple of tries to get the smart speaker to understand what you are asking it to do.
The app also lets you set vacuuming and mopping cycle schedules, adjust settings, and view a cleaning log. You can also use the app to manually divide rooms into zones for room-specific cleaning. The only drawback is that the robot can only store a single map, so you have to wipe it and start over if you move rooms. This is a bit annoying because most top-end robots use lidar-based SLAM mapping tech. They are more precise and can recognize different surfaces.
Easy to set up
The Yeedi Vac 2 Pro is an easy-to-use robot vacuum and mop combo. It has a similar design to most other robot vacuum cleaners, with a dust bin hidden under the main brush and a water tank slotted into the rear. It also has a single side brush designed to coax dirt from sides of furniture into the main cleaning path.
Once you’ve downloaded the Yeedi app, the device will do a quick mapping run to work out the local environment. The app then splits the map into rooms, although I found the accuracy of this to be lacking, especially in wider doorways.
The app makes it easy to customize the cleaning settings, including vacuuming and mopping levels and the cleaning sequence. You can also set virtual boundaries and no-go zones. The app also provides a log for the cleaning history and a “find my robot” feature. The Yeedi Vac 2 Pro has good power, with suction reaching up to 3000pa on carpet.
Easy to clean

The robot is also easy to clean and maintain. Its filters and brushes need occasional replacement, but the company sells them separately.

It did well in our rice and flour tests, picking up 84% of each spillage. Its edge sweeping brush is very effective, especially on carpet edges. However, it’s not as effective as the iRobot Roomba j7.
It also has a new 3D obstacle avoidance system that uses structured light to detect objects and avoid them. This is an impressive improvement over the previous model. It was also able to recognize and navigate around dropped household objects, including a discarded sock and a convincing fake dog poo. This is more impressive than many of the other robots I’ve tested that don’t seem to be able to identify such objects at all.
Easy to maintain
The Yeedi Vac 2 Pro is easy to maintain. It has an emptying bin that’s easy to open, as well as a handy tool for clearing out tangled hairs and cleaning the filters. The app also makes it easy to set cleaning schedules and choose your vacuuming sequence.
However, this robot isn’t as good at finding its way around as some of the more expensive options on the market. Its mapping system isn’t as accurate as LIDAR-based systems, and it can take a while to work out how to get from one room to the next. It did spend a while bouncing around some dining chair legs, but was eventually able to get out of the mess without any intervention.
It can also auto-avoid carpeted areas when mopping and increase suction when it goes over rugs in vacuum mode, but it’s still not as refined as some of the top-end models such as the Roborock S7. It does have the advantage of letting you draw a bounding box on the map to tell the robot to clean that area.
