Easy-to-watch movies

What movie to watch?

When deciding which movie to choose, you need to consider what genre you want to watch. There are a wide variety of film genres, from action to rom-coms, so if you’re in a corny “love affair” mood, then you would watch a rom-com or rom-com. Or if you are in a gunman mood or crashing a car, then you would watch an action or action adventure movie. If you’re not 100% sure what genre you want to watch, you can always look at your other options and come back to this section.

The classics or the latest news?

The next step is to decide if you want to watch an older “classic” movie or a newer movie. Personally, I think this step depends mainly on your age and the type of movie lover you are. For example, I’m not as interested in older movies as I’m not as interested in (unless the movie is a “must see” like Scarface or Godfarther), movies that I wanted when I was younger.

Cast and crew?

When you’ve chosen a movie or genre, I always feel like it’s important to get to know the cast and crew. It’s an important factor in finding a movie because if you like a certain actor / actress, you can find their discography and essentially open up to more movies. For example, I enjoy Mark Wahlberg’s performance so I can find out what movies he’s been in and see them.

A cheaper way to enjoy movies

In today’s economy, many people are looking for inexpensive entertainment options for friendly gatherings.

Here’s an idea that doesn’t cost a lot and can be a lot of fun.

Try having a classic movie night in your home, here are some movie and theme ideas.

Undisputed Classics – Many movie lovers will have some kind of classic movie hidden somewhere in their home. This is a great way to start a classic movie night.

Comedy Nights – Always the most popular genre for get-togethers, I personally don’t think you can beat watching comedies with your friends.

Actor-specific nights: The people you invite to your movie night will have favorite actors, so chances are they have some movies with the same actor. This is a great way to discover talented actors that you may not know about.

Night of the 80s: Movies like Ferris Buellers Day Off, Back to the Future and Raiders of the Lost Arc, are always good options to spend the night with friends.

These are just a few suggestions that have worked, but of course create your own themes and inspire movies in others! Sharing movies with others is a great way to socialize and save a little money.
