Who will talk about this?

Hello everyone

Where are we taking our country? Everywhere we look today, you can see the advancement of man, how the human mind has basically invented, created and built a whole new world. He was wondering how that same human mind continues to allow sexual assault against women, including rape and fighting her to the death. Rape is one of the most heard terms today. The Delhi Nirbhaya case was one of the most controversial cases of sexual violence against women. Nirbhaya not only faced excruciating pain but also haunted the mind of one and all. The Nirbhaya rape case that had shaken the entire world, there are millions of women who are sexually assaulted and raped every day.

Let’s talk about the Kotkhai (Shimla) gang rape that happened on 4th July 2017. Let me tell you about this case. Gudiya used to go to her school every day through the Halila forest. On July 4, she went to school with his brother. It was a Sports Day. She wasn’t doing any sports, so she decided to go home at 4 pm, but her brother stayed at his relative’s house. That day Gudiya did not come home. Her relatives started looking for her. They filed a complaint at the police station. Two days later, her naked body was found in the Halila forest. Her clothes were thrown next to her naked body. According to the sources, Ella Gudiya was raped by six people. The severe fractures in both hands and legs. Many marks were also seen on her body, which says that she Gudiya tried to protect herself from her. After she was brutally raped, they then dumped her naked body into the jungle. The police took the whole case on a lighter note until a photo of Gudiya went viral on the web.

The image was so heartbreaking where Gudiya was seen naked with her legs twisted and her body full of cuts and scratches. As soon as the painting reached the Government, the case went to investigation as a matter of priority. The local police were said to have updated their investigation, and the police inspector general thereafter cracked the case, arresting six men in a span of nine days. Once the citizens of Shimla began to question the actions taken by the police force, the police were found to be absent and not answering any of the questions raised. Then by public demand. The case has been transferred to the CBI. This case is about to be one year old and justice has yet to be done for Gudiya.

Now I have a question for all of us. Aren’t we all women, men and humans, before being Hindus or Muslims? Hindus and Muslims have found another cause to fight over religion and insult each other. You may not know what I’m talking about: it’s about Asifa Bano, an eight-year-old girl who was not only raped, but drugged, confined, and murdered. She was held in a temple and repeatedly raped for a week before beating her to death. She had taken her horses to graze in the meadows. Her body was found on January 17, 2018. According to reliable sources, little Ella was hit twice on the head with a stone to make sure she was dead.

Nothing has changed in 5 years after Nirbhaya. There are millions of women who are sexually assaulted and raped every day, we don’t even know that. I will repeat my question: have we reached a time when humanity no longer exists? Where do we forget about the needs and feelings of others? We are so lost in our own world that we calmly ignore everything that happens around us. We will ignore it until the day it happens to us.

Conclution

At this time, it must be said that you are responsible for the current situation where we are not even safe in our home. Is it no wonder that every conversation in the country is about caste, difference, religion? When was the last time that politicization had a conversion on real problems of our country (farmer, unemployment, etc.)? Every day horrible images, new and horrible images are projected on our screens.

Who is going to talk about it? Everyone wants to talk about our caste, our religion. There are no women except in our country, all our politicization speaks against the opposition party, for a minute she speaks first of her party. They just want to question each other about what is happening in our country. Humanity has just died these days. Even the police authority has taken things for granted in trying to cover up such a heinous crime and save the accused from small reparations. The police, the government and the media have to investigate the matter in a much more serious way. If they take a serious look at these people, they won’t gather in the streets to protest. It is the responsibility of the government and law enforcement agencies to make sure that each and every citizen is safe in this country, and it is up to the media to take care of people’s rights cases instead of generating controversies. There must be a change in the mentality or attitude of society so that when a girl walks alone on the street or alone at home, it is not an opportunity for others but a responsibility of others to ensure her safety. Changes must be made not only in the laws but also in the mentality of the people so that rape victims are no longer victimized,

I really have no words to express my anger, all I know is that I am not a lost voice. I promise myself to keep going no matter what and keep doing this to bring more peace and humanity to this world.

“Our society is one where girls are taught how not to be raped…But we don’t teach boys not to rape…Wake up the real people.”
