Number nine and the life path nine

The number nine is the hermit in tarot. This soul walks with its lantern lighting up those who have lost their way. A light shared with all sincere seekers: a wise old man who has successfully passed the previous eight lessons.
The number nine is the bookend of the number one; Every book must have a beginning and an end, Alpha and Omega. The number nine closes chapters in the great book of eternity. Everything created must, at some point, come to an end.
In Hinduism, there are three main gods, Brahma, the creator, Vishnu, the sustainer, and Lord Shiva, the destroyer. Number nine is associated with Lord Shiva.
Number nine is an uncoiled snake. When Arron and Moses went to Egypt to beg Pharaoh to let the Israelites go, a great transmutation occurred, the wooden rods were transmuted into serpents. This snake rests at the base of our spine; when it rises, it can change us from sons of man to sons of God.
The number nine in its serpent aspect stands tall on its tail. This symbolic tail of a tornado or hurricane. It brings balance when the scales of life have tipped towards darkness.
