make money online part 8

As a tried and tested internet business model, there is no denying that for the vast majority, making a profit with Google AdSense is among the top 10 most prominently used internet businesses on the web.

Here are my own thoughts on earning with Google AdSense.

WHAT IS UNDER AN UMBRELLA?

Given by the almighty Google, you can place Google promotions on any of the pages of your website (the duration of it is approved by Google). Registration is FREE, however you must meet the standard requirements of having a meaningful content site before your Google AdSense account is approved.

Once approved, you can place standard-size Google promotions in certain places on your web pages. Google Ads will display promotions that are relevant to the theme of your site. You get paid for every click your guests make on Google ads.

There’s usually not much to be gained from a click, so the idea is to have sites with high volumes of traffic and have guests looking for that information.

WHY SHINE?

Earnings from Google AdSense are regular and managed with automatic payments. No client support is required at all and you don’t need to monitor ads (depending on how you view it). The Google AdSense system offers a decent reward for including another payment stream, basically by adapting from each site page or blog post you have on your sites.

WHY NOT?

To put it bluntly, relying on Google AdSense to bring home the bacon, on its own, is suicide. It takes a lot of energy (and I don’t know how long it would take you) to build up a significant salary and start getting checks from Google constantly.

Many aggressive AdSense promoters I know incorporate sites with hundreds of them and many more rely on unethical methods – they are not at fault until Google notices them and this can lead to permanent suspension of their Google AdSense accounts. A huge cost to pay for tricking the search engine.

DO YOU THINK THIS IS FOR YOU?

You may not expect this conclusion. Even though profiting from Google AdSense is one of the top 10 internet businesses on the web, I would not recommend doing it. Not entirely alone, certainly. You should be prepared to build multiple sites with considerable traffic and a premium readership or use it to supplement your existing content-rich sites.

However, please do not hesitate to give it a try when you consider including another source of salary. Just don’t do it out of money-related anxiety!
