Is your attitude friend or foe, or something in between?

Each of us, have an attitude! Some have positive, and others, much – less, so! The reality is that it can be a good friend, your biggest enemy or something in between. After more than four decades of involvement in the areas of personal development and self-esteem etc., including giving hundreds of seminars etc., during that period, I believe that attitudes often determine our future, potential, and whether we maximize the possibility of being the happiest, the most fulfilled, as personally positive, and this consideration and analysis can often be reduced and limited to four types. With that in mind, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review, and discuss four possibilities and their impacts.

1. True positive attitude: A true positive attitude requires much more than responding, Better than ever, When someone asks, how are you? It doesn’t mean wearing rose-colored glasses, but rather, proceeding, with a firm grip, on reality, and prioritizing ways to achieve, rather than why one might fail. When any obstacle arises, as each of us faces it regularly, will you consider it a challenge to overcome or a debilitating/self-limiting problem? Often, it is how we perceive things that largely determines our results, etc.

2. From lips – service, positivity: True positivity requires more than mere words, but rather a true feeling! Many people claim to have a positive attitude, but in reality, all too often, it seems that they are trying to fool themselves with their personal rhetoric.

3. Neutral: Often, we notice that some do not seem to have consistent and clear patterns of attitude and/or behavior. Without this consistency, they often fluctuate in terms of their moods and actions, which can limit their personal productivity, happiness, and well-being.

Four. Negative attitudes: Our tendency towards negativity can often be our biggest enemy! You can think you can, or you can think you can’t. Either way, you’ll be right.. These words, often credited to Henry Ford, express how we perceive and conceive of things, they determine our outcome, many times! Whatever the mind of man perceives and conceives, it can achieve. When we focus on our negativity, we spend too much time thinking about all the reasons why we can fail and all the possible things that can go wrong. When that happens, it not only negatively affects our thought process, but limits our possibilities and potential, by encouraging procrastination, when proactive behavior is the best course of action!

It is often up to you whether your attitude will become your personal best friend or your biggest enemy/foe. Will you try to be the best you can possibly be?
