If, on the other hand, you think the Oilers are going to win the game, then the money line indicates how much you can win for every $100 you bet. Betting $100 on the Oilers means that if they win, you will receive $220 (your $100 bet plus a $120 payout).
Some people like to increase the amount of money they can win by betting on a hockey game through odds, and you can do this by betting on the puck line. It works the same way a roll does. In order to collect the bet, the team you bet on has to win by a certain number of goals. On the contrary, if you bet on the loser, you can get paid if you lose by less than the specified number of goals.
