3 factors for a healthy body

This article is an introduction to a series of articles on effective ways to lose excess weight and maintain a healthy body.

The 3 main themes are:

Healthy diet

o Exercise and other related activities

o Well rested body

A healthy diet is all about eating the right foods in the right amounts at the right time of day. It means that every moment of the day, there are foods that can make you fat or give you less nutritional value. Eating habits also fall into this category. Bad eating habits consist of not eating on time. This can cause certain diseases. The most common disease that results from this bad eating habit is ulcer.

The body needs exercise and other related activities to regulate and maintain the full functionality of our muscles and joints. Atrophy will result if we don’t use them. However, this condition rarely happens to us as we move regularly. This only happens to patients in a coma or to people who have not moved for a long time. Our goal when exercising is not to prevent atrophy but to keep our body in top shape. Two people who have the same weight may not have the same strength. Think of a 200-pound couch potato with a body made up of 80% fat, then think of a 200-pound wrestler with 80% of his body made up of well-developed muscle. Which do you think is stronger?

A well rested body is very important. Doing energy depleting exercises without rest would only harm the body. The goal of having a physically fit body would not be met. In fact, it would be opposed to the idea of making us healthy. Over fatigue, muscle pain and weakened immune system would be one of its many side effects. Overexertion and sleep deprivation is a no no.
