Coming in third in fan opinion is Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. An average ticket price of $14.92 gives fans the ability to watch a game without straining their bank accounts. For fans who like to enjoy a beer or two while watching the game, the park is home to the Sandlot Brewery with a wide variety of beers and behind the bullpen is an interactive area with everything from tee-ball cages to a fantasy broadcast booth. Even if you don’t get a good seat in the park, you’ll have a good line of sight to the game and for fans seated along the first base line there’s a great view of the sun setting over the mountains during night games.
Number four on the best stadiums list is Angel Stadium, home of the Anaheim Angels. This park has an average admission price of $17.36 and many handicap accessible seats. Angel Stadium has a program that allows fans in wheelchairs to watch batting practice in lower level seating areas. Plus, there’s even a 400-seat picnic area beyond center field for fans who like to bring their own snacks. Under new ownership whose first priority is the fan experience, the park is sure to make you want to be there. The fans support the teams so well at this park that it’s not uncommon for people to walk away with hoarse throats.
Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves, is the fifth-ranked stadium. With an average ticket price of $17.51 and many other attractions in the park, fans get what they pay for. Scout’s Alley in left field allows fans to practice their hitting and pitching with the interactive exhibits. If you are a fan with hearing problems, this is your park thanks to the audio amplification devices it offers. Fans of this park can get pretty upset when the tomahawk chop comes out. And finally, the new high-definition scoreboard in the middle of the park gives fans a great view of the score, tackle, count and everything else they need to know.
