So do you think you can dance with the stars?

So do you think you can dance on TV with the “All-Star” partners and be able to keep up with their dance genre? There were thousands of would-be winners of the popular TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” attending the auditions in hopes of getting a place in the final. Since there will only be 10 final contestants chosen at the end (5 girls and 5 boys), the competition is extremely tough. Only the best in the country will be chosen. The contestants have to dance for you to believe that they are all professionals.

So do you think it might have been a waste of time for so many people to have auditioned in the first place? It’s not a waste of time as it helps you see what aspects of your dance routine you need to work on. If you think you can dance, try again next time.

There is a lot of excitement among viewers of the previous seasons, because Season 7 is going to be a little bit different. Some of the rules have been changed to make the show a bit more exciting. So you think you’d prefer the show the way it was: Nigel Lythgoe, the show’s executive producer and judge, thought a few changes would make the show more interesting.

By selecting a group of 12 “All-Star” partners for the contestants, he’s helping you think you can dance more excitingly. The “All-Stars” were all former contestants on SYTYCD and now have professional dance careers in movies, music videos, and professional choreography. All of them are highly proficient dancers in various types of dances. It will be exciting to see them back on stage and see how they have developed in their dance careers. So you think you dance well? Don’t miss the Season 7 premiere on May 28 hosted by Cat Deeley to see these professionals in action.

  • Before there were 20 contestants of which 2 had to go home per week, now there are only 10 contestants and 1 leaves per week. So do you think this is a good new twist or not?
  • Each week a contestant will get a new partner and a new genre to dance to
  • The couple’s name and dance genre will not be pulled from a hat like in previous seasons, but from a photograph of an “All-Star” couple. Regardless of the gender of the couple, that is what the contestant will dance that week. There will be professional choreographers in charge.
  • Another change, which I think is great, is that after the performance the contestant will be left alone on stage to face the judges. So do you think this may be fair to the contestant? It’s not unfair, as the contestant is now being judged not on the excellent display the fellow “All-Star” put on, but on his own merits.
  • There will be a couple of judges on the panel. They will rotate throughout the show. Sometimes there will be up to 4 judges on the show at any given time. The regular judges will be there, as well as some new faces to bring a little change. Mia Michaels and Mary Murphy will act as judge and choreographer.
  • Another significant change is that the judges will make the elimination decisions.
  • America will decide the last 3 and the final

So do you think you can enjoy watching Season 7 on Wednesday and Thursday nights? I’m sure we’ll all enjoy the show.
