If you really believed in miracles, this is what you would do – Part III

Ask and it will be given to you…

“Spirit is substance that forms itself according to your [requests] and you must have a pattern from which to work. A mold of dough is just as willing to become bread as a cookie. The Spirit cares so little what we [request].”

Frances Larimer Warner (Our Invisible Supply, Part I, 1907)

Very important: Your prayers are always answered in the best way for all concerned. And it’s a good idea to be grateful for that fact. Here’s why: You may not know, and usually don’t know, what’s best in a particular situation, even if you think you do. You do not exist in a vacuum. What happens to you happens to the world. Heavy huh?

The three R’s of the affirmative sentence

  • Request. Declare what you want. Then she decides how she will spend her time. Point: Does what you do on a daily basis really support your request? Put it in writing. Choose a word that expresses the essence of the sentence and repeat it as many times as you can think of. Let it serve as a reminder rather than a request.
  • Release. Once you’ve placed your order, let the universe take over. Sometimes we tend to block our good by worrying, trying to force things, or seeking control. Whose. Relax and let it unfold naturally.
  • To receive. Live as if you already have what you asked for. Open to the best possible result. Be observant. See your life as wounded. Your response may appear in ways you have not considered. You don’t always know your own good. Trust that it all comes together through Divine Right Action. This! Trust means that you believe that the universe has your best interests at heart. Can you… can you believe that?

Prayer works. And there is nothing supernatural about it. The universe is constantly progressing from chaos to order. Your prayer, your very existence, agitates the chaos; The order (The Answer) is inevitable.

“You are never granted a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. However, you may have to work for it.”Richard Bach (author of Jonathan Livingston’s Seagull)

“Don’t pray for easy lives. Pray to be a stronger person. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers to match your tasks. Then the accomplishment of the work will not be a miracle. You will be the miracle.”

Phillips Brooks (1835-1893), American clergyman
