How to Put Downloaded Games on PSP: An Easy Guide to Using PSP Game Downloads

The PSP is now the best-selling portable gaming system ever released and has amassed a huge fan base from around the world. It’s packed with features and allows anyone to play games and movies while “on the go.” One popular feature is the ability to download PSP games, so we thought we’d quickly explain how to put games on the PSP when you download them.

One of the most common questions we get from PSP owners is where they can find free PSP game downloads. I thought it would be a good idea to go over that today.

There are three main options when you want to use PSP game downloads.

Option 1

You can find websites that have flashy banners advertising “free PSP downloads.” Sounds great to begin with, however you should be careful if you ever use the websites.

Unfortunately, several of these websites have been shut down for infecting computers with viruses or spyware. Finding a new game to download is great, however, you don’t want to damage your computer at the same time.

The biggest complaint we get about these websites is that the downloads are incredibly slow and many of the games don’t finish working. It’s incredibly annoying to have to wait more than a day for something to finish downloading and find out that it doesn’t even work.

There is no one monitoring these websites, so you have no way of knowing what you are actually downloading. We cannot recommend these websites simply because they can be risky and will also waste a lot of time.

Option 2

This option will cost you a few dollars. You can find ‘membership’ websites for downloading PSP games where you pay a monthly fee to access all kinds of downloads (games, movies, TV shows, etc.).

If you plan to download quite a few games or movies each month, this is a pretty good option. The cost is about $30-$35 per month and this gives you access to as many downloads as you want.

Many people get excited at the sound of this option, but there are even cheaper ways to find unlimited PSP game downloads.

Option #3

This last option is much less expensive than option #2 and is quickly becoming the most popular option for people who want to download PSP games.

As people saw that there was a growing demand for PSP downloads, some companies decided to capitalize on this trend and opened specialized PSP game download websites that charge a one-time fee for unlimited PSP downloads. Membership costs about $35-$45 and gives you full access to as many PSP downloads as you want.

This is obviously much cheaper than the second option because you are never billed any monthly fees. You pay once, you are a member for life. Simple as that.

The companies that operate these websites are in business to make money, so they invest a lot of money to make sure their customers are happy. This means you can count on fast download speeds, an up-to-date selection of games, and a safe and legal way to download games and movies.

As more and more people start learning about PSP downloads, I imagine PSP download membership websites will become the “standard” way to get new games and movies. It’s an incredibly easy and inexpensive way to keep your PSP stocked with the newest and most popular games. A word of warning though: it is extremely addictive!
