Go Team Go (to DVD store)

Just when I was thinking “There are no good DVDs to watch anymore,” we had back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the ninth.

One about corruption in New York (payola, who would have known?). It could have been about sanitation engineering (that’s garbage collection), I suppose, but it was about the criminals in the parts of the train throughout the world. types of table government. An all-star cast in “The Yards” (2000 release) includes James Caan, Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Faye Dunaway, Joaquin Phoenix. All lines A + s for dose guys. Ellen Burstyn, give it an A too. The problem was that the library copy was ruined right where the heart of the film took place. I think Joaquin (Willie) made the land mass. Den groomed his best friend to run over him. Den accused the same guy as Marky (I’m thinking of Leo) of buying time with his girl when he’s only 15 years old. You have the launcher. Of course I’m not one to speak ill of Apple, but it makes sense to me. I guess I should have bought it if I wanted to see it, but all of a sudden I get a strong rash. Well, we dance on our DVDs here. Boy of guys dosed cool accents, well dats judges pros for yuz. Who Headed Say Mess? James Gray, it’s okay. Weze loved it.

And before that we saw “Truth or Consequences, NM” (1997), not as stellar as a cast, but not bad either. Kiefer Sutherland makes a great directorial debut. Vincent Gallo is great. Rod Steiger too cold. There is a great shoot ’em up and a beautiful protagonist for you testosteronis. Martin Sheen as Sir does. Boy, your son is a mess, isn’t he? Now he didn’t just meddle, he put 300 coworkers (who work on his TV show) on the unemployment line while he goes to the Rehab Club.

Anyway, we tied the game in the bottom of the ninth with those back-to-backs and we’re feeling pretty good with “Zodiac” (2007) on the way. Robert Downey, Jr., Jake Gyllenhall, right? Downey had righted himself when he took on this role, but he could still play quite well.

So we go for a longer one and go home a winner, but there are two outs. Well, like Mighty Casey, “Zodiac” struck out.

Well, we’ll get them in extra tickets. I hope Ernie Banks appears in the tenth. These are not the Yankees you know. We’re going to need Mr. Cub or Sweet Billy to come.

It’s funny, all three got 3-4 stars, but I don’t think so. I like the first two.
