A Facebook Traffic Trick Using Sponsored Stories

If you’re not creating a fan page for your niche, you’re missing out…plain and simple.

Once you have created a fan page for your niche or target audience, there are some great ways to promote this page and get a lot of followers. Facebook is making it easy for your page to be popular. One tool I’ve been testing recently is Facebook Sponsored Story Ads.

I’ve recently seen some marketers show 1-cent clicks using this method, and while I haven’t seen 1-cent clicks on my campaigns yet, I’m pretty sure I do calculate all the resulting additional fan page likes from my page. being shared, it would have extremely low cost clicks. I am very impressed with how traffic is measured and how quickly you can build followers.

So what are Facebook Sponsored Stories?

When a person interacts with your Facebook page or app, a notification will appear in that person’s news feed about any actions they’ve taken.

Since news sources are constantly changing, most friends may never see the actual actions or comments their friends made on their page. However, by using sponsored stories ads, you’re paying for people to see stories about their friends who engage with your Page.

Not only does this make people more likely to see these stories on the right side of the page (sponsored stories ads are 240 pixels wide) for longer periods of time, but they are more inclined to click on the ad. and interact with your page when they see that their friends have already done so.

These comments are already being distributed in the regular news to those people’s friends. It is simply “republishing” them.

So what types of Stories can you highlight?

Page “Like”

If someone likes your Facebook Page, you can let others know through Sponsored Stories. Your ad will even display a “Like” icon so your target audience can click and “Like” your page right on the ad.

Posts Page

You can now advertise the latest posts as a Sponsored Story. This ad also includes a “Share” icon for your fans to click and share.

Page post “Like”

If one of your fans has liked a post in the last seven days, you can tell their friends about the “Like” action.

So how do you create an affiliate page?

There are hundreds of different methods and if you go to Facebook right now and search for pages in your niche, you will find them. The key is to keep users engaged and provide them with good content and constant updates.

1 or 2 updates a day is probably enough and this alone will produce more activity and ultimately more likes. Stay engaged and post different things like images, videos, text and keep your fan base interested in what your page has to say.

How do you monetize with CPA or other affiliate offers?

I recommend you to mask your promotions and not go out directly with offers and promotions. Many people on Facebook have no patience with direct ads and promotions, but if you engage with your users and send them offers that are specific and relevant to their interests, you will succeed.

Examples of how to monetize:

1. Survey method – An example of this is I set up a survey on my fan page and ask users to take the survey… then at the end of the survey it says “Thank you for completing this survey: click here for a free gift”, then send them to the related email send offer, or even say click here to view survey results and then on that page have related offers.

2. Free Method: If that doesn’t appeal to you, here’s another example: You can send them to a capture page offering them a free report, say on weight loss, and in that report you could have several affiliate links at one weight. weight loss program they could purchase and could even have an autoresponder set up to send weight loss-related offers and materials.

3. Promote offers to your fans like a wall upgrade. People will like a deal and share a deal. So if you can get something for people at a real discount, then share it.

4. Generate leads by promoting a giveaway – Combining the power of a giveaway or contest with Facebook’s sponsored stories model is a recipe for massive lead generation! Take a look at some of Shortstack’s tools for running contests. They have some great templates, but if you’re not tech-savvy, it’s not very easy to set up… I know from experience.

There are several ways to monetize your fans without having to post affiliate links directly on your Facebook page. By keeping your Facebook fan page free of affiliate links, you’ll get more followers and more people will share your stuff, as long as you give them good content!

Affiliate links or promotional links directly on your Facebook page are a safe turnoff and can be spotted by most people.

Set up a landing page for your offers

The best option is to set up a landing page, blog, or squeeze page and link to it from your Facebook pages. These links can be in About sections and even as a short update to a blog post or free report.

Make sure the actual offer you want to promote is a good offer that your niche will like. You can even have the Facebook Like box on your landing page and Facebook Comments too – just go to the Facebook developer page for tons of cool things you can add to your landing page that will make it even more interactive .

This will allow for more user engagement, but more importantly, it will give you social proof that will skyrocket your conversions.
