The importance of exposure in life

You can only aspire to the level of your awareness and exposure. Your exhibition helps you dream. You can never dream of something you have never come across. Areas that increase your level of exposure are important to take note of, as it becomes the much-needed arsenal to propel you to the next level of life. Children sometimes only aspire to what they can see their parents do. Parent achievements are highly appreciated. I once spoke to two children whose mothers were servants or home helpers. They were both about 4 years old. I asked him a simple question “what do you want to do when you grow up?”. Her answers were bold and to the point “To be a house helper; servant.” It showed me that because their level of exposure was low, they felt this was the career of choice.

After all, mom what must be good. Expose your children to good things and watch them excel

some ways

Reading: there is always a lot of material to read, from newspapers, books, etc. I heard someone say that the safest place to hide banknotes is on the book shelf, inside the books because many people take books for granted. Books often reflect a person’s experiences, thus increasing their own level of exposure.

Travel: Going places you’ve never been alone broadens your horizons. I remember the first time I boarded a plane to travel to a town 300 miles from the capital city. I was in awe of what an airplane can do, going somewhere I’ve never been. It was incredible. I also remember my first time in the city when I was in my early 20s. It was an incredible experience that I still enjoy remembering.

Research – There are several places where you can do your research. The biggest and most common place now is the Internet. You can also use other online tools like encyclopedia etc. Research areas of interest and watch your level of knowledge grow.

Observe: Always take time to look at others, watch TV, observe processes while asking questions. These are means by which you can feed your mind with new things.

Tasting – Have you ever eaten crocodile meat? The first time I did it I had no idea. However, I realized from that day on what I was missing my whole life. My exhibit became so useful that I added a type of meat to my shopping list. The taste of the pudding is in the eating. You can never be exposed to good food unless you try it. seeing how the food is prepared is not good enough. You need to get the actual exposure.

Networks: The networks you build will always help expose you to new things. I make an effort to connect with people who have had some level of exposure that I haven’t yet. That way I can learn from other people’s mistakes and successes.

Go to school or university: it is in those places where you learn new ways of doing things, new concepts, etc. Never stop learning.
