Do you need some cool ideas for an engagement? As usual, I have some great ones! It’s a joke! If you are asking the woman of your dreams to marry you, you want to make it special, right? Don’t take her out to eat and ask her. Be creative!
My first idea would be my favorite! (just because I’m a basketball fan) You’ll have to figure out who to talk to and how to do it, but here it is. Take your girlfriend to a basketball game. Right when halftime starts, does he appear on the screen saying “Will you marry me, (your name)”? or whatever you want me to say, then the camera will zoom in on both of you. I would only recommend doing this if everyone has talked about marriage before, because she will be in a bind in front of a million people!
My next idea is to take her somewhere outside of town. However, make it a surprise! Know what size swimsuit she likes, and a couple of days before, put a new pair of swimsuits on the bed with a suitcase ready and tell her to start packing, because she has a surprise. Have everything figured out for her, like work and her schedule. This will take more planning, but it would be a lot of fun! When you arrive, watch the sunset on the beach while you drink wine and ask questions. This is so romantic!
Another great idea is to call a radio station and have them plan to play a certain song and then ask you on the radio at a certain time. Take her out to dinner at her favorite restaurant or wherever her favorite food is served. Have some wine, of course. That’s always the best, duh! Then take her home, put on her favorite love song, and start dancing to her. After the song plays, the announcer will say it over the radio. This is so thoughtful and special. It will mean a lot to her, I promise! All of these things will be a bit pricey. So if money is tight, here is another idea: take her to her favorite restaurant, or to the place where you had your first date, or where you kissed or met for the first time, just to a special place. Write her a letter about how you feel about her, do it all about her! Then ask him. This is so special too!
