Those familiar with the Worldwide Church of God know that after many years of observing what most would call “Jewish holidays” but with a Christian meaning, the Church has now switched to more generally acceptable Christian holidays such as Easter. and Christmas. In the past, these festivities of the Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumnal Equinox, and Winter Solstice were superseded by the recognition of Easter over Easter in the Spring and the Festival of Tabernacles in the Fall over Christmas. While no religious holy day comes out of nowhere, and Jewish holy days also grew out of the pagan agricultural festivals that preceded them, I wonder if the Worldwide Church of God and all Christians would be intrigued and challenged to figure out exactly which one? . In a nutshell, the story of Jesus’ one-year ministry as described in Mark, Matthew, and Luke is an astrological allegory for the literal SUN’s journey through the twelve signs of the zodiac in one year. The journey of the SON/SUN begins with the birth of the SUN and the SON in December, given birth by a virgin of all things, and ends just before Christmas on December 22-24, the time when the SUN appears to be “in the tomb”. “before being born again on the 25th, moving slightly north and heading towards spring. Jesus also spent his three days in the tomb as we remember.
First of all, why would it say that the Virgin gives birth to the SUN and that the Virgin gives birth to the literal SON of God later in print was not the original story? Because the oldest phenomenon is the sky story noticed long before it became literal for the masses. On Christmas day, particularly 2000 years ago when during the time of Jesus, the Sign of Aries, the Lamb, was coming to an end, represented by the crucifixion of the Lamb in the Spring, the sky on Christmas morning showed a interesting sight. Just before sunrise, the SUN sits on the horizon about to “be born”. At the zenith, the highest point in the sky, at that moment, is the zodiacal constellation of Virgo, the Virgin who is the Most High, the MOST Blessed, at that moment the SUN is born. Truly, and anciently, “and the virgin will bring for the SUN”. The prophecy says that “They will call his (THE SON’s) name, Immanuel, which means “God with us.” But the literal SON Jesus was never called Immanuel. However, the real SUN, as the SUN of GOD is always Immanuel, with us. The Bible even says of “God” that His power is from the rising of the sun to its setting.” Nobody thinks about this. God’s power is only good during the day, that’s what he’s saying. God’s power ends at sunset according to this scripture. Obviously this SUN GOD has no power after sunset, which of course is the actual SUN and not the literalized GOD or the SON of GOD. Malachi tells us that the Messiah, but calling him SUN, “will rise with healing on his wings.” The wings of the sun are the rays that appear to come out due to the way humans see the sun when they try to look at it. One of the great symbols of Egypt is the sun disk with large bird wings that come out from left to right. It is an ancient symbol of how the sun looks to humans.
Let’s go a little further than the birth of the SUN/Son on Christmas morning. The Gospels say that Jesus was “about 30 years old” when he began his ministry. The SUN/SON was born in December in the then sign of Capricorn, which is the Goat, and may explain some of the animals in the Nativity scene that later became literally real in history. Each House of the Zodiac occupies approximately 30 degrees of the sky (30×12=360). So the SUN is also around 30 when he enters the next zodiac sign in January, which happens to be the same PERSON Jesus the SON visited when he began his ministry. This would be Aquarius, the Water Bearer for the SUN but John the Baptist for Jesus the SON. Same story. One in heaven, one literally made on earth. The same history! Both SUN and SON are baptized by Waterman during this month and both increase, that is, they continue to move towards spring for the SUN or their ministry for the SON. Aquarius and John, the Watermen on the other hand, must subside and while one goes down, the other is decapitated. It is no coincidence that when Aquarius seems to rise six months later at sunrise instead of sinking at sunset, his head comes out first in front of Leo the Lion, a sign of Herod who literally had him assassinated. Aquarius, in the morning the dawn is decapitated by Leo who is going down. Is this why later in Jesus’ ministry, Herod thinks that John the Baptist is coming back from the dead or that he is risen, because Aquarius is rising after descending six months earlier? Is this a celestial astro-theological tale made literally true?
Also, at sunrise and before Christmas Day, the three stars in Orion the Hunter’s belt rose vertically and followed the sun across the sky all day, only to lose it at sunset. Each winter morning, this scene progressed with the three “wizards” rising higher and earlier each day in pursuit of the SUN/SON. When the story was literalized, he lost his common sense. In the literal story we find the wise men saying, “We have seen his star in the east…” They then proceed to follow it west and it ends up turning south and hovering just over the spot where Jesus was. It would be foolish to see a star facing east, watch it pass overhead in time, and then turn west to follow it to Jerusalem. You would play this game every night for a while. Head east first, then look up, then turn around and head west. I doubt this was the plan of the Three Wise Men who couldn’t have been so stupid. However, when not taken literally, we have the three stars, perfectly aligned in Orion’s Belt as hikers rising in the east and heading west following the SUN or the SON who has to be in the West to find. Great astro-theology but a bit weird when it literally comes true. It might explain why Herod couldn’t see the same star and had to ask the wise men to find Jesus for him. It was happening in heaven, not in the palace. A good Gnostic would say “of course, that’s where the story comes from”.
Well, shortly after Aquarius and John slip from the scene and Jesus goes on his way, he immediately goes into the desert to be tempted by Satan to not be all that he can be. This would be the SOL, rising from winter and heading into spring and then highest at summer solstice, but still dim early in the game. Jesus might still be too young, too weak to continue, so Satan, meaning darkness tempts him not to be Jesus the SON or the SUN. The darkness of Winter does not want to go away and wants to prevent the SUN/SON from illuminating the world, or as we would say, Satan does not want Jesus the SON to take away the sins (darkness) of the world. The darkness in the human psyche is the world of evil and fear…the world of Satan. Jesus as the SON, like the SUN, could overcome the darkness of winter and Satan if he cannot be deterred at this weak point in his cycle.
But, alas, the seasons cannot be stopped, so Jesus and the SUN go to Spring and Easter, which is the time when the SUN has the same strength as darkness, when day and night are Equinox or Equal Nights. It is Easter because the SUN rises in the east and gives worshipers of the SON a direction in which to pray on Easter morning. Satan is on his way to be defeated with the SUN/SON being literally crucified in Aries the Lamb, (April-Easter) which Jesus was also called and the SUN in Aries the Lamb as a sign of the Zodiac. For the SUN the crucifixion takes place where the Celestial Equator crosses the Ecliptic and the Sun sits right at its intersection on Easter, and for Jesus it happens at the same time in Jerusalem, literally.
It is no coincidence that the Age of Aries the Lamb, which ended with the SUN moving PICES due to the progression of the equinox every 2190 years or so, around the time of Jesus coincides with the death of the Lamb of God, the Son, Jesus . it is a symbol “Behold, I am with you, until the end of the world”, said Jesus. This was not the end of the world as some think, but the Lamb Jesus would be with them until the end of the astrological age of Aries and then Pices the Fish would begin. It is also no coincidence that the symbol of the Church of the SON/SUN is the fish, nor that at the time of Pices the Christians were to be “fishers of men”. The theme of fishing in the Gospels has to do with the end of the Age of Aries at the time of Jesus and the beginning of the Age of Pices, the Fishes. It’s no coincidence that right after Jesus defeated Satan, he went to Galilee, which means “circuit” as in the SON’s circuit, or SUN depending on where you’re looking at the story, he meets TWO FISHERMEN, Peter and Andrew and makes them Disciples. Jesus making his circuit around Galilee, which means “circuit”, with his 12 disciples surrounding him, is not unlike the SUN making his circuit (Galilee) surrounded by his 12 zodiacal disciples. The Sign of the Pieces is that of two fish. It is no coincidence that in the feeding of the crowds there were TWO Fishes and five loaves symbolizing the five known planets of the time, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn.
Well, there is much more. When Jesus as the SON stood on the mount of transfiguration in the summer of his one-year ministry, his face shone like the SUN at noon. This is because this earthly event is the literal fact in the cosmos that in June, the Summer Solstice finds the SUN at its highest point, being the HIGHEST of the year and of bright light. Jesus, standing on that “high mountain” in summer, his face shining as if the sun was doing what the SUN was doing and VERY HIGH right above his head. This is also no coincidence. From June everything is downhill for the SUN and for Jesus the SON. Cancer the crab, which moves backwards and is for July and August, symbolizes that the SON and the SUN were now going backwards to their destiny. Jesus is betrayed in the Fall by Judas, that scorpion, just as the SUN is stung and betrayed by Scorpio in his plunge into oblivion in December. The Archer then takes on the role of Sagittarius, just as the mob does and both the SUN and the SON are pierced. They die at the end of December and seem to be gone and just as the SUN lies for three days in the southern hemisphere, considered the grave and seems to go no further south or return north, so Jesus lies three days as the SON of GOD in the severe. But keep in mind that the SUN that rises and sets every day across the planet, while receiving little attention from today’s busy modern men and women, was THE source of all religion on the planet. Because the greatest fear that men have and have had in history is the fear of the dark. The darkness was evil and thus became “El Mal” or “Devil or Devil”. Just as the SUN of GOD defeats darkness as he makes it rise and fall one year from birth to death, so Jesus as the literal SON of GOD, defeats the Devil and delivers us from darkness as well. The story that is literally true happens in the cosmos, above your head every minute of every day, month and year. The most suspicious, made literally true, is the one you hear in Sunday school. ….Hello! School SUNDAY DAY!!!!!!!
